WSOL

We work to improve accessibility on the WSOL website so it can be used as comfortably as possible with a keyboard, screen reader, text enlargement or reduced-motion settings. This page describes features tested on the website; it is not a certification of full compliance with a particular standard or legal requirement.

What has been implemented and tested

  • A skip-to-content link and semantic header, main and footer landmarks on primary pages.
  • Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators for interactive controls and the ability to close the accessibility tool with Escape.
  • An accessibility tool for enlarging text, increasing contrast, reducing motion and highlighting links. Your choice is stored in the browser.
  • Support for the system reduced-motion preference as well as manual motion reduction through the tool.
  • Form labels, text alternatives for content images and automated checks as part of website testing.

Using the accessibility tool

The Accessibility button is available in the corner of the screen. It can be opened with the keyboard to select or reset adjustments or to reach this page. The tool is an additional aid and does not replace accessibility work on the content and components themselves.

Known limitations

Dynamic websites, third-party content and future changes can introduce new gaps. If you encounter difficulty, you may also try your browser or operating-system settings and contact us so we can investigate the specific case.
